Lief Esbenshade is a doctoral candidate at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education. His research interests include teacher evaluation, teacher labor markets, and measurement theory. He earned a 5-12 social studies teaching license in Minnesota, and developed student growth models for the New York City Department of Education. He is also interested in open science and reproducible research.
